What is Assisted Living?
Assisted Living is a residential home environment that provides otherwise independent seniors with assistance for one or more Activities of Daily Living (ADL's). ADL's can include, dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting etc.
There are two general categories of Assisted Living Facilities: Type I and Type II
