Bel Aire Assisted Living was born from the dream of Steve Sabins, our current owner. Back in the late 90's, Steve knew that there were many different options available for helping aging seniors. Many of them could stay in their own homes, while others would need to move in with family members. When a family member begins to need more care than the family can adequately provide, assisted-living facilities are a logical choice.
Unfortunately, many assisted living facilities operate with more of a "money-first" mentality. The dignity of the individual resident is often overlooked in an effort to increase profits. Bel Aire's all-inclusive fee sets us apart from most other facilities.
Steve set out to create a dignified and comfortable home environment for seniors who needed a little extra help with daily living activities. The result is Bel Aire Assisted Living, "Defining Excellence in Senior Care". Steve has served as president of the Utah Assisted Living Association (UALA), as a member of the UALA Board of Directors for many years, and is currently serving a four year term on the governor appointed State of Utah Health Facility Committee. Steve is also a member and past-president of the Provo Rotary Club affiliated with Rotary International. He has a wife and seven children.
